TechTV | Tracy Coe: Boobie Flask
I'm afraid I might be dying... I have now seen it all. The Boobie Flask lets women store their favorite adult beverage in the bra. I guess they figure beer goggles will kick in and the guys won't noticed they dropped a cup size or two.
Man - I'll bet there's a mad rush for security jobs when these hit the market. "Here, I'll pat people down checking for illegal booze.

Win key is back from vacation
While writing that last post it dawned on me that mabye I should check out the Fedora bug page. Now that it has been out a few days, maybe someone's found out what caused the problem. And sure enough, there it was. Just needed one modification - which I posted - and I have my Win key back.
Ahh... the many joys of leading edge.

First impression to harsh?
Ok, I admit it. My first impressions of Lessig's Free Culture might have been a bit rough. He is very thorough in his explanations, but the thoroughness is warranted. I am through the first of four main parts, and am eagerly reading the rest of the book. More updates to come...

MicroCenter = Pep Boys
My Dad's company had asked me to price laptops for their new sales person. Last November, I helped them pick out a Dell laptop for my Dad and apparently they liked what I did. Instead of jumping on the first good price I saw and recommending it, I decided to make the voyage down into Overland Park to visit Microcenter to check prices. Sure, I could do that online, but I wanted something to do.

BBC NEWS | Europe | Nazi row mars German leader vote
Well, this makes a lot of sense. Germany's Chrstian Democratic Union appointed a form Nazi judge to sit on their assembly to pick the next German President. Yeah... that should be extremely popular with Germans and the rest of the EU.

TechTV | RIAA Wrath Hits Teen
Check this article out. You think the RIAA is going after pirates with $10,000 digital recording studios for "rippin'" and full underground distribution networks? You think the RIAA is trying to reputably defend their "work" by going after people who directly cost them money?
Think again. Those bastards are going after college kids who create search engines. Search engines which don't censor what is put on them. University search engines that index all of the files students and faculty have made available.

Zona Rosa opens in Kansas City Northland
Who would think that the opening of a newfangled and, as yet, uncompleted shopping center would cause a traffic jam? Who would indeed. I knew Zona Rosa was nearing completion and since I was in the neighborhood checking my P.O. Box, I thought I'd drive over and see what was going on. Little did I know that it was now "officially" open. The parking lot was a zoo, people were walking everywhere.

Cell phone directory - why Verizon doesn't want it
This morning on the news I heard that a cell phone directory is in the works. Opponents are many. But one member of the opponents suprised the commentator, Verizon Wireless. The explaination for their concern was that their cell phone customers would be inundated with unwanted calls and text messages. I think the concern is more closely rooted to their bottom line.
Imagine this, the year is 2005, it is mid-summer.

Fedora Core 2 Installation
You know the calm before the storm... how everything seems ereily right. I'm experiencing that right now. I just installed Fedora Core 2, and it went to smoothly... When is my hard drive going to fail or my CD burner going to start throwing stuff at me? What's wrong with my computer?!
